Gobble delivers 15 minute meal kits that are (almost) ready to cook so that you can have a delicious home-cooked meal on the table in no time at all.
By completing most of the prep, like peeling and chopping, beforehand, and sending premade sauces all you have to do is mix, cook, and eat!
Gobble offers three types of meals, Classic, Vegetarian, and Lean & Clean, in their weekly rotating 17+ meal menu that you can mix and match to suit your needs. All meals can be made in around 15 min, but the Lean & Clean meals are 650 calories or less, low carb, and include lean proteins.
In addition to meal kits, Gobble features add-ons including protein like shrimp and chicken, seasonal salads, breakfast, sides, soup, and dessert!
Gobble ships to the Continental U.S. with the exception of Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
How much is Gobble shipping?
Shipping is $8.99 per delivery.
Do Gobble meals really take 15 minutes?
Yes, most Gobble meals only take 15 minutes to make.
They do this by sending pre-prepped ingredients, premade sauces and spice blends, and pre-cooked rice.
I’ve found that the 2-person meal kits are almost always in the 15 to 20-minute timeframe or less, and the 4-person meal kits can take a bit longer as you have more produce to prep and more to cook.
With that said, most meal kits that we have tried have not taken longer than 20 minutes to prepare.
Does Gobble include recipe cards in every order?
Yes! Gobble does include recipe cards in every box.
How long do Gobble meal kits last?
Gobble meal kits will last in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. We recommend cooking the meal kits with seafood first as they have the shortest shelf-life.
We also recommend cooking any meal kits with veggies or herbs that look like they are close to going bad first.
Does Gobble have low-carb, vegetarian, gluten-free, and/or dairy free meals on their menu?
Lean & Clean meals have 650 calories or less, and include lean proteins and healthy fats, with fewer carbohydrates.
In addition, every week Gobble offers dairy-free, nut-free, or gluten-free meals or meals that can be prepared as dairy-free, nut-free, or gluten-free by withholding certain ingredients.
Gobble also allows you to “Personalize” some meals by swapping out proteins.
We love that Gobble offers sides, soup, breakfast, dessert, premium meals, and salads in addition to their meal kits.
To cancel your Gobble subscription is a little tricky. I had to search in the FAQ’s/Help section to find out how to cancel and could not do it within my account.
You can also email Gobble at [email protected] with your full name and registered email address, and ask them to cancel your account.
If you just need a break or are going on vacation, you can easily skip weeks in your Gobble account.
Are Gobble meals prepared or pre-cooked?
Some of the ingredients that Gobble sends are pre-cooked like sauces, meat, and rice, while others like vegetables are not.
Gobble meal kits are therefore less work than most other meal kits, but do take more time to make than prepared meals.
By completing most of the prep, like peeling and chopping, beforehand, and sending premade sauces all you have to do is mix, cook, and eat!
Gobble Meal Kit Reviews
We’ve ordered Gobble meal kits many, many times.
We are a family of three and often order a 2 serving meal kit with a protein add-on to stretch the meal for our family or order the 4 serving meal kits so that we have leftovers.
Add-ons vary from $5.99 per serving for a salad to $2.99 per serving for boneless skinless chicken breast to $1.99 per serving for take-and-bake chocolate chip cookies. This may be slightly more expensive than some other meal kits and in line with others.
Depending on how you mix and match the meal kits and add-ons you can create a wonderful week of home-cooked meals the whole family will love for less than the cost of takeout. Get 6 Meals for $36 Off Your First 2 Boxes >>
What are the Best Gobble Meals?
Some of our favorite Gobble meal kit recipes include:
FAVORITE!!! Crispy Coconut Hawaiian Shrimp Tacos with mango salsa
Shrimp & Broccoli Siciliana with pearl couscous
Hearty Bolognese Lasagna Rolls with ricotta cheese and Italian vegetables
Black Pepper Beef with stir-fry vegetables and jasmine rice
Chimichurri Fish Tacos with shredded cabbage
Korean Bulgogi Beef Lettuce Cups with sweet potato glass noodles
Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry with basil & brown rice
Three Cheese Ravioli with zucchini & puttanesca sauce
Crispy Coconut Hawaiian Fish Tacos with mango salsa were SO yummy! Gobble sent sustainably sourced wild snapper filets for these tacos, which are much tastier than tilapia found in most meal kits, in my opinion. The prep came in the form of cutting lime and avocado, marinating the slaw, and then breading the fish.
What makes these so special is the coconut panko breadcrumbs! They added a crunchy, sweet flavor that is more complex than plain breadcrumbs. Mix that with the mango salsa, and sesame slaw and you are transported to a tropical island. This is one of our top 3 favorite meal kit recipes of all time!!!
Black Pepper Beef with stir-fried vegetables and jasmine rice. This dish was super easy to prepare, just chop the peppers, halve the beans, throw everything in the pan, add the tasty black pepper sauce, and voila! Dinner is served.
Hearty Bolognese Lasagna Rolls with ricotta cheese and Italian vegetables. This was the perfect meal for a cool early fall night. We wanted comfort food and we got it! Another easy meal to prepare as the sauce is premade so all you have to do is cook the veggies and warm the premade lasagna rolls and sauce.
This meal was delicious and filling.
Chimichurri Fish Tacos with shredded cabbage was wonderful! Gobble sends high-quality Mahi Mahi for these tasty tacos and the only thing you have to chop is a lime. Plus, you have chimichurri cabbage, chimichurri sauce, AND a pesto hummus sauce to give this dish lots of flavor in very little time.
To make this dish we mixed the cabbage and chimichurri sauce, cut up the limes, mixed the hummus and pesto sauce, coated/spiced the fish, and then sauteed the fish and tortillas.
Korean Bulgogi Beef Lettuce Cups with sweet potato glass noodles. This meal kit had so many flavors and yet, it was so easy to make.
The pre-seasoned bulgogi beef was wonderful in a crisp lettuce cup topped with the tangy, spicy Korean kogi barbecue sauce and vegan kimchi. And the cabbage blend with the sweet potato glass noodles made for a filling and tasty dish.
Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry with Basil & Brown Rice. I started the timer and within 4 min I was done prepping the veggies. I seasoned and coated the shrimp with cornstarch, added them to the pan for around 3 min, and only 8 min had passed.
Then I cooked the veggies for a couple of mins, added the shrimp and sauce to the pan, popped the rice in the microwave, and in less than 15 min dinner was on the table. This meal was really tasty! Our family loves stir-frys and this sauce combined with the fresh Thai basil was wonderful.
Three Cheese Ravioli with Zucchini & Puttanesca Sauce. The only chopping was dicing the zucchini and tearing the basil. This took about 1 min. You do this while your water is boiling.
Then add the zucchini to a pan, add in the premade Puttanesca Sauce and the premade Garlic Confit (which smells SO good when it’s cooking), and your sauce is done. Add the ravioli, which comes fresh, and cook for just 4 min, and you are done.
This meal took around 10 min to throw together, used 1 saute pan and 1 pot, and was very tasty.
Shrimp & Broccoli Siciliana with pearl couscous. This was the perfect meal for a late summer evening. The tomatoes add a freshness/brightness to the dish and go great with the broccoli and shrimp.
We love the Sicilian garlic confit used in a lot of the Gobble recipes as it adds such a wonderful garlic flavor and combined with the lemon garlic herb butter this dish is very tasty!
Next time, I will serve this dish in a bowl and add bread so that we can soak up all of the leftover sauce!
Chocolate Chip Cookies. Simply preheat your oven to 375, remove the premade cookie dough from the package, place them on a baking sheet, and 12-15 min later you have a gooey, chocolatey dessert.
Gobble meal kits come (almost) ready to cook so that you can have a delicious home-cooked meal on the table in around 15 min using just 1 or 2 pans. By completing most of the prep, like peeling and chopping, beforehand, and sending premade sauces all you have to do is mix, cook, and eat.
We love Gobble for its convenience, ease of cooking, and flavorful SAUCES! As a busy working mom, Gobble allows me to put a home-cooked meal on our table several nights a week. We really enjoy the diverse recipes offered each week, most with globally-inspired flavors, so that our family of three can enjoy something new.
We have fallen in love with the Gobble sauces, which enable Gobble to deliver on their promise of meals in 15 minutes. We also love that Gobble offers a ton of different add-on options like sides, salads, protein, dessert, and breakfast. We like adding protein to portion up a 2-person meal kit without adding additional servings – this is perfect for our family of three (and it costs less!).
And while we love Gobble’s flavorful recipes and fast time-to-table, compared to other meal kits they are on the higher end for price, and shipping is not included. Gobble may be out of your budget if you have a large family with a lot of hungry mouths to feed. In addition, canceling your Gobble account is unnecessarily difficult.
We hands-down recommend Gobble to anyone looking for flavorful home-cooked meals that are easy to make, with most made in less than 20 min. Get 6 Meals for $36 Off Your First 2 Boxes >>
