Gobble offers two types of meals, Classic and Lean & Clean, in their weekly rotating 15 meal menu that you can mix and match to suit your needs. All meals can be made in around 15 min, but the Lean & Clean meals are 600 calories or less, low carb, and include lean proteins. Read our full Gobble Lean & Clean review for more details.

For our second set of Gobble reviews, we tried three of their QUICK & EASY meal kits including the Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry with Basil & Brown Rice, Kung Pao Tofu Stir-Fry with Asian Vegetables & Brown Rice, and the Three Cheese Ravioli with Zucchini & Puttanesca Sauce. These meal kits are their fastest and easiest meal kits to make. And that is saying something considering most Gobble meal kits can be made in around 15 min using 1 pan. Gobble Quick Easy
First up, we made the Thai Shrimp Stir-Fry with Basil & Brown Rice. I started the timer and within 4 min I was done prepping the veggies. I seasoned and coated the shrimp with cornstarch, added them to the pan for around 3 min, and only 8 min had passed. Then I cooked the veggies for a couple of mins, added the shrimp and sauce to the pan, popped the rice in the microwave, and in less than 15 min dinner was on the table. This meal was really tasty! Our family loves stir-frys and this sauce combined with the fresh Thai basil was wonderful. Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
We also tried out the Chocolate Chip Cookies. Simply preheat your oven to 375, remove the premade cookie dough from the package, place them on a baking sheet, and 12-15 min later you have a gooey, chocolatey dessert. Yum! Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
Next up, we made the Three Cheese Ravioli with Zucchini & Puttanesca Sauce. The only chopping was dicing the zucchini and tearing the basil. This took about 1 min. You do this while your water is boiling. Then add the zucchini to a pan, add in the premade Puttanesca Sauce and the premade Garlic Confit (which smells SO good when it’s cooking), and your sauce is done. Add the ravioli, which comes fresh, and cook for just 4 min, and you are done.
We finished up the week with the Kung Pao Tofu Stir-Fry with Asian Vegetables & Brown Rice. There was a bit more chopping for this meal kit but still took under 3 min to prep everything. Then you brown the tofu, add in all of the veggies, and top with the spicy Kung Pao sauce. This dish used 1 saute pan and 1 bowl for the rice and was made in less than 15 min.
Usually, meal kits will leave the spicy peppers as optional so that you can control your spice level, but with this dish the sauce was spicy AND there were additional hot peppers that you could add in. My husband loved the dish, but it was too spicy for my son, and a perfect level of spiciness for me. Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
Gobble Meal Kit Reviews: 15-Min Meal Kits with Protein Add-On
We’ve ordered Gobble meal kits many, many times. We are a family of three and often order a 2 serving meal kit with a protein add-on to stretch the meal for our family. Some of our favorite recipes include:
Hearty Bolognese Lasagna Rolls with ricotta cheese and Italian vegetables
Mojito Lime Shrimp Bowl with cilantro rice and mango salsa
Black Pepper Beef with stir-fry vegetables and jasmine rice
Gobble meals are $11.99 per serving with $6.99 shipping. Add-on’s vary from $5.99 per serving for a salad to $2.99 per serving for boneless skinless chicken breast to $1.99 per serving for take-and-bake chocolate chip cookies. This may be slightly more expensive than some other meal kits and inline with others.
Depending on how you mix and match the meal kits and add-on’s you can create a wonderful week of home-cooked meals the whole family will love for less than the cost of takeout. Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
First up, the Black Pepper Beef with stir-fry vegetables and jasmine rice. This dish was super easy to prepare, just chop the peppers, halve the beans, throw everything in the pan, add the tasty black pepper sauce, and voila! Dinner is served. This meal was flavorful and filling and so much better for you than takeout! Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
Next up, the Hearty Bolognese Lasagna Rolls with ricotta cheese and Italian vegetables. This was the perfect meal for a cool early fall night. We wanted comfort food and we got it! Another easy meal to prepare as the sauce is premade so all you have to do is cook the veggies and warm the premade lasagna rolls and sauce. This meal was delicious and filling. Finally, we had the Mojito Lime Shrimp Bowl with cilantro rice and mango salsa. This was our least favorite of the three meals for the week because it was a little bland. And although it was very fresh and light we would’ve loved a Gobble specialty spice blend or a more robust sauce to bring the meal together and to add more flavor. Instead, for the first time in years, they instruct you to “add your favorite spicy seasoning from your pantry”. I have come to expect flavor from Gobble, like with our two earlier meals, and will be sure to look out for meals that don’t come with spice blends or sauces in the future. Gobble meal kits come (almost) ready to cook so that you can have a delicious home-cooked meal on the table in around 15 min using just 1 or 2 pans. By completing most of the prep, like peeling and chopping, beforehand, and sending premade sauces all you have to do is mix, cook, and eat.
We love Gobble for their convenience, ease of cooking, and their flavorful SAUCES! As a busy working mom, Gobble allows me to put a home-cooked meal on our table several nights a week. We really enjoy the diverse recipes offered each week, most with globally-inspired flavors, so that our family of three can enjoy something new.
We have fallen in love with the Gobble sauces, which enable Gobble to deliver on their promise of meals in 15 minutes. We also love that Gobble offers a ton of different add-on options like sides, salads, protein, dessert, and breakfast. We like adding protein to portion up a 2-person meal kit without adding additional servings – this is perfect for our family of three (and it costs less!).
And while we love Gobble’s flavorful recipes and fast time-to-table, compared to other meal kits they are on the higher end for price, and shipping is not included. Gobble may be out of your budget if you have a large family with a lot of hungry mouths to feed.
We hands-down recommend Gobble to anyone looking for flavorful home-cooked meals that are easy to make, with most made in less than 20 min. Save 50% with code 50OFFBOX >>
