Here is a little more about what we received and what we thought of each Sprinly meal.

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Mushroom and Lentil Burger with Ranch Salad

mushroom and lentil burger-springly vegan meals review-mealfinds

The Mushroom and Lentil Burger was hands-down my favorite meal of the week!

I loved the taste of the burger.  It had almost a falafel taste and was very filling.

The ranch salad was a nice touch and I didn’t miss the dairy in this dairy-free ranch dressing. SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Pesto Pasta with Sun-Dried Tomato Cakes

pesto pasta with tomato cakes-sprinly vegan meals review-mealfinds

Another favorite meal from the week!  The Tomato cakes tasted good and were filling, but were very dense.

I loved the taste of the pesto with lots of spinach and yummy gluten-free pasta.

This pesto pasta with sundried tomato cakes meal was large for lunch and a perfect size for dinner. SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Zucchini Noodle Pad Thai with Baked Tofu

zucchini noodles paid thai-sprinly vegan meals review-mealfinds

This Zucchini Noodle Pad Thai meal had a good peanut flavor, but the zoodles were too watery even when we followed the instructions and drained them.

The taste of the zoodles was ok, but gluten-free noodles would’ve been better.

This was our least favorite meal of the week.

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Enchilada Casserole with “Queso”

enchilada casserole-springly vegan meals review-mealfinds

The Enchilada Casserole with “Queso” was one of our favorites for the week!

The enchilada casserole was packed with lots of Mexican flavors that I love.

The “queso” tasted a bit like cheese and was good, but not the real thing of course.  And the chipotle salad on the side was the perfect balance for this meal. SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Review: Coconut Kale and Quinoa Antioxidant Salad

coconut kale salad-sprinly vegan meals review-mealfinds

Every week Sprinly offers a salad that requires no heating.  The Coconut Kale and Quinoa Antioxidant salad this week came with hemp seeds and apple balsamic.

We loved the toasted sunflower seeds, coconut flakes, and raisins as they added a bit of crunch and sweetness to the salad.

One tip, this salad came with a lot of dressing, more than needed in my opinion, and I recommend pouring half on and mixing instead of adding all of the dressing at once.

Sprinly Meals Review: Vegan Mac and Cheese with Steamed Broccoli

The vegan mac and cheese with steamed broccoli was the first meal we tried. It came with fresh broccoli florets, cooked elbow macaroni noodles, plant-based “bacon bits” and vegan “parmesan”.

sprinly-reviews-mac-and-cheese

We were super impressed with this mac and cheese. The broccoli was perfectly cooked and a nice, bright green. The pasta was the best-tasting gluten-free pasta we have ever tried. The texture was identical to “regular” pasta and not sticky or gummy like other gluten-free options we have tasted.

The “bacon” bits were nice and crunchy as was the parmesan crumble. In our opinion, there could have been a little more “cheese” taste or possibly some more sauce. The nutritional yeast flavor was good but the overall flavor was a little more nutty than cheesy. However, for a vegan, gluten-free mac and cheese, it was pretty darn good! SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Roasted Acorn Squash with Hazelnuts, Lemon Vinaigrette and Quinoa

The next meal we tried was a maple roasted acorn squash that was served with quinoa, chopped hazelnuts, and some curly, baby kale.

The squash still had the skin on which was nice for presentation but maybe something that could be removed to make for easier eating.

This was a perfect lunch-sized meal. It was very flavorful and the squash, kale, and quinoa were perfect together. I would need a little something more if this was going to be served as a dinner.

However, the taste was incredible, there was a nice amount of crunchy thanks to the nuts and everything was cooked to perfection.

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Paprika Spinach Salad With Baked Tofu and Hemp Hearts

Sprinly gives a fresh salad option each week and this was our week’s salad. There was no reheating necessary and you could really eat it right out of the box. We chose to use a real plate, though, and sprinkle the veggies, tofu, and dressing together out of the box.

The bright colors of the cabbage, peppers, and carrots looked great and they were all super fresh. SHOP NOW>>

We loved the crunch vegetables and the soft tofu. The paprika dressing was very flavorful and also original. The dressing is really what brought this dish to life! We loved Sprinly’s addition of hemp hearts which add some plant-based protein to the dish.

Overall, it was a very tasty, filling salad. The quality was great and the portion was just right.

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Mediterranean Veggie Kofta Crumble with Vegan Tzatziki and Cucumber Tomato Salad

Kofta is a kind of Indian meatball that is usually made with lamb or beef. However, this kofta was made with veggies and nuts.

The kofta was served with golden turmeric rice, pickled cabbage, vegan tzatziki sauce, and a cold cucumber salad.

sprinly-reviews-veggie-kofta

We loved the cold cucumber salad with warm rice and kofta. Everything on this dish was incredibly flavorful and paired so well together to make a unique and exciting meal.

To make this on your own would take hours but with Sprinly, it was ready in about three minutes!

The veggie kofta tasted almost identical to a meat-based meatball. The tzatziki sauce was a little watery but it still had a good flavor. The color of the pickled cabbage was beautiful and it added a nice tang to the dish. We can see why this is a Sprinly customer favorite. SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Enchilada Casserole with Green Peppers and “Queso”

Next, we tried a veggie-packed enchilada meal that came with a good sized slice of enchilada casserole and a side salad.

When we received our Sprinly box, the juices from the casserole had leaked out a little bit from the package.

This was the only meal from Sprinly that we had this issue, but, a quick wipe on the outside of the box and we were ready to eat!

sprinly-reviews-enchillada

The tortillas in the enchilada casserole were very soft and broke apart easily.

The casserole sauce was wonderfully rich and you could really taste the roasted peppers and tomatoes. The vegan enchilada casserole was pretty good.

It was a little messier, so probably a good at-home option. You will definitely love the flavor and all the veggies that are packed into the box! SHOP NOW>>

Sprinly Meals Reviews: Zucchini and Carrot Pasta Marinara with Plantballs

sprinly-reviews-plantballs

We were excited to try Sprinly’s signature plantballs and they did not disappoint.

The zucchini noodles were very crisp and fresh. They were thick and could be compared to a fettuccine-style noodle. The marinara sauce had a ton of shredded carrots but they were super soft and barely noticeable as we were eating. It was a great way to add a vegetable without altering the delicious flavor of the sauce.

The plantballs were nice and tender and had a rich, nutty flavor. Two of the plantballs were plenty to fill you up and the whole meal was quite hearty. We love the vegan parmesan on top and wanted more!

Overall, this was an amazing vegan pasta dish that made us feel like we were really eating healthy and enjoying every minute of it. SHOP NOW>>
