The Tea Spot is “spreading wellness through tea” and is on a mission to help people live a healthy life.  They do this through their premium tea products as well as through the 10% for Wellness pledge where they donate 10% of all profits in-kind to cancer patients and wellness programs.

Tea has many health benefits thanks to the antioxidants inside and has been linked to weight loss, stress relief, prevention of disease, and more.  In addition, fresh-brewed tea is 100% natural, fat-free, calorie-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, and preservative-free making it a healthy hydration choice.

With The Tea Spot you can choose from White, Green, Oolong, Black, Pu’erh, Yerba Mate, Herbal, Rooibos, and Decaf tea in loose-leaf or sachets.  Sort by function, including Detox, Sleep, or Digestion, as well as flavor or caffeine level to find your perfect tea.

The Tea Spot also carries Steepware®, a line of modern teaware that includes tea infusers, tea mugs, tea tumblers, and teapots as well as over 20 tea gift bundles for that tea-lover in your life.

I am a huge tea drinker and couldn’t wait to try all of these wonderful new loose leaf teas.

So how did the tea taste?

Bolder Breakfast – I enjoyed this black tea and was surprised (and delighted) by the dark chocolate flavoring that came through ever so slightly with every sip.

Earl of Grey – I love black tea and this tea gives you the bergamot flavor you would expect from an Earl Grey along with bright citrus and creamy vanilla.

Blood Orange Smoothie – This herbal tea had a wonderfully fruity and vanilla taste and would be perfect iced on a hot day or at night as a sweet treat.

Meditative Mind – The combination of organic white tea, organic jasmine pearls, and organic rose petals creates a light floral tea that is not overwhelming.

Boulder Blues – This green tea was very light with hints of fruit.

Climber’s High Chai – I’m not a huge fan of Chai, but this tea really packed a flavor punch!  With 5 types of tea and 13 spices, any Chai-lover will enjoy this blend.

We found this mug to not only look beautiful but loved how the strainer fits perfectly into the mug allowing for the perfect cup of tea.  It also has a notch on the side so that you can use a teabag without it sliding into the mug.

The Tea Spot Reviews: Bottom Line

orange tea spilling out on plate-the tea spot reviews-mealfinds

The Tea Spot delivers exceptional quality handcrafted loose leaf teas and innovative teaware empowering people to lead healthier lives.

We love The Tea Spot’s large selection and variety of loose leaf teas and tea sachets as well as their assortment of modern teaware.  We also love that they are giving back to support cancer patients and wellness programs through the 10% for Wellness program.

And while they do offer free shipping on orders $60+, this shipping threshold is higher than we’ve seen on other tea sites.

Compared to other online loose leaf tea retailers that we’ve reviewed, The Tea Spot pricing is in line with other loose leaf tea brands and the middle of the pack for loose leaf tea assortment and the number of gifts available.  However, they do offer an assortment of stylish teaware that others don’t.

We recommend The Tea Spot for anyone looking for quality loose leaf tea, for those looking for modern teaware, and for anyone looking for high-quality tea gifts.
