Many of the Propper Good soups are made using bone broth which is known to have numerous health benefits from boosting immunity to reducing inflammation. You can even order just the bone broth- it’s almost like ordering immunity in a bag!

Many of the soups are clear broths but there are plenty of creamier soups as well. The spiced pumpkin soup and broccoli cheddar soup look very dense and hearty while the chicken bone broth and meatball minestrone look a little lighter.

If you love soup, you will definitely find a flavor you love here!

For our Proper Good soup reviews, we received one Chicken Noodle soup pouch and one Meatball Minestrone soup pouch.

Check out our unboxing video below for more on packaging and how your soup and oatmeal will arrive.

All of the Proper Good soups come in a box with little to no packaging and are sealed in a single-serving plastic pouch. The soup is shelf-stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated until opened.

How long does it take to heat Proper Good Soup?

You can open the single-serve pouch and place it directly in the microwave for 90 seconds to heat.

You can also choose to pour the soup into a small saucepan and heat it on the stovetop. Both options work well!  Shop now >>

Proper Good Chicken Noodle Soup Tasting

The chicken noodle soup is made with organic chicken bone broth making it rich in collagen. The broth is made with turmeric and ginger which gives the soup a very slight spice. It has pieces of white chicken breast, carrots, onions, and egg noodles mixed into the rich broth. The chicken noodle soup is high in protein and packed with vegetables.

We gave the chicken noodle soup a try and were pleasantly surprised. It definitely had more flavor than a regular, canned chicken soup. The broth was a beautiful orange color thanks to the turmeric. The noodles and vegetables were nice and tender.

There was a perfect ratio of noodles, chicken, and veggies to broth. There was enough soup in the pouch for one person and it was a great light lunch.  Shop now >>

Proper Good Meatball Minestrone Soup Tasting

Meatball Minestrone is made from a thick, tomato and bone broth mix. The bone broth is made from grass-fed beef bones and loaded with collagen. The soup is also full of beef and pork meatballs, farro, kidney beans, and veggies. And because it’s high in protein it will keep you full and satisfied.

We tried the meatball minestrone soup and we were very delighted with the taste. The soup had a strong tomato flavor and was also packed with barley. There were a few mini meatballs in the soup that was quite tasty.

However, we would have loved a few more meatballs and a little less farro. The bowl was very full of farro which is delicious but overpowered the soup a little bit. It definitely tasted like a homemade soup that you could find in any grandma’s kitchen.

In addition, Proper Good has several other soup flavors including Broccoli Cheddar, Red Pepper Meatball, Spiced Pumpkin, Butternut Squash, and Chicken Mushroom.  We didn’t get to try these this time and look forward to trying them in the future.  More on each soup is below.

Proper Good Broccoli Cheddar Soup

The broccoli cheddar soup is keto-friendly and also gluten-free. The chicken bone broth is completely organic and helps make a thick and creamy soup. The broccoli cheddar is made with real cheddar cheese and also has a little turmeric mixed in.

This gives the soup a slight spice and a whole lot of bright yellow color! Broccoli cheddar is one of Proper Good’s top-rated soups so surely one you should try.  Shop now >>

Proper Good Red Pepper Meatball Soup

This very thick, creamy soup is loaded with pork and beef mini meatballs making it hearty enough to fill you up all day! Sweet red bell peppers and grass-fed bone broth make a tasty, flavorful broth.

The soup is also high in protein to keep you full and satisfied.  It will help boost your immunity, improve your joints and also benefit your overall gut health. Red pepper and meatball soup is a simple and delicious way to fuel and soothe your body.  Shop now >>

    Proper Good Butternut Squash Soup

Butternut squash soup is a velvety thick soup that is made with sweet squash, cinnamon, coconut milk, and savory carrots and onions.

The sweet and salty taste is perfect to satisfy any lunch or dinner craving. The soup is plant-based, gluten-free, and also has no added sugars.  Shop now >>

    Proper Good Spiced Pumpkin Soup

Spiced pumpkin soup is a tasty and unique soup. It has a nice creamy base made from coconut milk and pumpkin but then a little bit of zing thanks to the turmeric and chili powder.

The soup is made with all plant-based ingredients and is also gluten-free. It would be a wonderful addition to your holiday meal but is really great any time of year!  Shop now >>

    Proper Good Chicken Mushroom Soup

This tasty, flavorful chicken and mushroom soup has only 8 grams of net carbs, making it a great keto meal. It is made with chicken breast, organic chicken bone broth, coconut oil, and fresh mushrooms.

The earthy taste of the mushrooms and the sweet coconut broth are a combination you will love!  Shop now >>

Proper Good Soup Reviews: Bottom Line

Proper Good is a great source for healthy soups, all of which are big enough to enjoy as a full meal. The soups are all made with nutritious ingredients and, with a range of unique flavors and options to fit most dietary needs, you will never tire of soup from Proper Good.

The subscription service will ensure that you never run out of tasty soup and the recycling program will help you feel good about your purchase.

We loved the clean ingredients that were put into every pouch and appreciated the care that Proper Good took toward making a great product. The soup definitely tasted homemade and high-quality, like something your grandma would make or a soup you would find in a restaurant. We also loved the free spoon that came with our soup!

And while Proper Good soup is more expensive than grocery store soup, we would consider this product more of a filling and hearty meal.  When compared to other prepared meal options, this soup is on the lower end of the price range.  We would also love to see a variety of soup sizes so we could feed the whole family soup.

I would recommend Proper Good to anyone soup lover out there. The pouches are easy to take with you on the go and the numerous flavors all sound amazing.  Shop now >>
