Little Spoon Reviews: Introducing Plates
Little Spoon has just launched Toddler & Kid’s meals for kids 1-7 years old! These Plates, like the other Little Spoon meals, are packed with veggies and superfoods carefully hidden in delicious favorites like meatballs and tater tots.
All meals are 100% clean with no added hormones, preservatives, additives, and nothing artificial. Best of all, meals start at just $5, making these healthy kids meals affordable and tasty. If you are like me, finding healthy meals that are tasty and quick to make are hard to come by. Little Spoon Plates make mealtime a breeze, my 9-year-old was able to easily heat these puppies up in the microwave and in less than 2 min lunch was served.
And you can even reuse the actual plates! They are top-rack dishwasher safe and BPA/BPS-free. You can also recycle them (after you clean them off, of course).
The Little Spoon Plates menu has something for everyone, even those picky eaters! Choose from 20+ plates in their rotating menu, including dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian meal options along with 5 clean sauce choices. Plates will last up to 14 days in the fridge or 2 months in the freezer allowing you to stock up for quick healthy lunch or dinner.
You might be wondering how these meals can last so long without preservatives? Little Spoon uses an innovative Freshlock seal on each plate, allowing their meals to stay fresh for longer without any harmful preservatives. Science is amazing!
You also have the option to add clean sauces to your order to give the Plates an added boost of flavor. This is especially nice for older kids and/or more adventurous eaters. Sauce flavors include Veggie Ketchup, Soy Glaze, Honey Mustard, Creamy Dill Ranch, and Avocado Crema.
And while we didn’t get to try the sauces, they sound delicious!
Little Spoon is a flexible subscription service allowing you to skip any delivery, pause, or cancel your plan at any time. Little Spoon Plates start at less than $5 per meal and customers have the option to add-on sauces each week. Each sauce box contains 3 sauces for an additional $2.99. Please note that each delivery contains 2 weeks of food.
4 meals/week: $6.49 per meal (8 meals per delivery)
6 meals/week: $5.99 per meal (12 meals per delivery)
9 meals/week: $5.49 per meal (18 meals per delivery)
12 meals/week: $4.99 per meal (24 meals per delivery)
Little Spoon Plates are a quick, healthy, and tasty meal for toddlers and kids. We feel that these meals would be a great lunch or dinner for toddlers and little kids up to age 5 based on the taste, portion size, and softer consistency. Older kids can still enjoy Plates for lunch, like my 9-year-old, but you may want to add a sauce for more flavor and add more to the meal to create a larger portion size and vary the consistency depending on your child.
With 20+ options to choose from your little one won’t get bored and you can rest assured that they are eating a nutritious lunch or dinner. Best of all, starting at $5 per meal, you can stock up on Little Spoon Plates to have them on hand when you need an easy lunch while learning from home or a fast dinner before a sports practice.
