FarmBox Direct boxes are between $33 and $68 per delivery.

Farmbox Direct offers 4 box sizes – Essential which feeds 1-2 people, Small which feeds a small family, Medium which feeds an average-size family, and Large feeds a large family of 6+.
Yes! With Farmbox Direct you can select an organic box or an all natural box, with the all natural box being the more economical option.
Yes! With Farmbox Direct you can select a mixed box with both fruit and vegetables, an all fruit box, or an all vegetable box. In addition, Farmbox Direct has 3 juicing boxes which are all organic.

To get started, enter your zip code to ensure delivery to your area. Then choose your box (more on each box option below) from four sizes, all natural or organic, all fruit/all veggies/mixed, or select a juicing box from three options. Finally, customize your Farmbox to your liking with up to 5 substitutions.
Farmbox Direct changes its menu every week as they source produce that is fresh and in season so that you receive the most delicious fruits and vegetables available (and so you don’t get bored!).
For our Farmbox Direct reviews, we received a Medium Organic Mixed box. Our box included 3 potatoes, 3 tomatoes, 1 avocado, 1 zucchini, 4 large carrots, 1 head of celery, 1 heaf of lettuce, 2 mangos, 3 apples, 4 pears, 3 oranges, 3 kiwi, 1 yellow bell pepper, 13 asparagus stalks, and around 10 Brussels sprouts. All the packing materials that come with your box are either biodegradable or recyclable, helping to reduce your impact on the environment while helping the farm community and your health. Included in your box is a guide to the packing materials and how to recycle each one.
When we unpacked our box we were impressed by the thought that was put into the packaging and care taken. For example, some items were wrapped individually in paper to help absorb moisture during transit and to keep the items fresh.
We also noticed that our produce was at various stages of ripeness – meaning we didn’t have to eat everything immediately for fear of it going bad. We could take our time and enjoy fruit as it ripened throughout the week.
It would’ve been nice to receive three or four seasonal recipes in our box to help us decide what to do with all of our yummy produce. This isn’t a deal-breaker as Farmbox Direct does have recipes on their site, but we love seeing new recipes, especially for ingredients that aren’t often used like kiwi. Shop now >>

I’m not one for wasting food, and I have to say that I ate better this week with all of the fresh produce around than I would in a normal week. I not only enjoyed the seasonal produce, but I ate things like kiwi and celery that I wouldn’t normally buy. Shop now >>

We love Farmbox Direct’s commitment to environmentally-friendly packaging and appreciated the guide included in the box with instructions on how to recycle everything inside. We also love that they offer both organic and the more economical “all-natural” box options in several sizes to fit your needs with all boxes supporting local farmers.
And while you can make up to 5 substitutions per delivery, we would love to be able to fully customize our box with fresh, seasonal produce. We would’ve also liked to have received seasonal recipes within our box to help with meal prep using all of the fresh produce we just received.
Compared to other produce delivery services, we like that Farmbox Direct includes free shipping with every delivery and offers a lot of options. When we compared the price of our organic medium mixed box to the price of the same organic items at our local WholeFoods, we found the price to be similar, but the convenience of Farmbox Direct can’t be beaten.
We would recommend Farmbox Direct to anyone looking for fresh, seasonal produce delivered directly to your door. For those that don’t have access to quality produce or organic produce, Farmbox Direct is a great option as you can’t be the convenience. Shop now >>
